928 spacers on 911 hub?
I need a little extra bump out on my front wheels. I've got 15mm spacers on there now, which required longer studs. Most of what I see in the 18mm - 21mm area are adapters not spacers. I really don't want to take the hubs off, pound out the new studs, etc.
So, I see the later 928's use 21mm spacers and I'm wondering if this is a viable option? Looks like bolt/barrel are the same.... Todd

I used 21 mm spacers that are from an 82-85 944, part # 477 501 701 on the rear of my turbo and they went right on. In checking my parts cd, it looks like the same part # for the 928 as well.

I'd like to put them on the fronts. Should be the same thing though. Now I just need to find a used set

They'll fit. Had them on my '82SC, front and rear both with Cup 1 wheels.
