A year plus...
Well over a year ago I dropped my '77 911 off to be stripped and repainted. Finally got the call to pick her up yesterday. I've been hearing and seeing for the past 6 months that "we're real close". Paint really looks gorgeous. She was re-sprayed the original Oak Forest Green Metallic, glad I stuck to the original color. After basically sitting for a year she started up without issue and motored 50 miles home. There are a few things I need to do and a few things I want to do. I need to replace the shocks, they're shot. Replace a few interior bits. I need to sell my 951 (excellent car, will sell very reasonably so I can dump more money into the 911!). In my garage I have a set of 40mm webers and a polished M&K exhaust, I'd like to put on sooner verses later. It's great to have a 911 again. They fit like a glove. Sorry about the quality of the pictures.

Nice. I think the dark green looks great with the bright, non blacked out window trim.
