measurement needed from a 66-69

I am doing some rust repair, could someone please give me a measurement or two of the area shown. I need it from the edge of the cowl to the edge of the weatherstripping lip as shown here. Maybe one from the center of the car and one from near the edge. Sorry if I'm not being real clear, but I think the photo illustrates what I'm looking for. Does that measurement stay the same all the way across?

It does NOT stay constant on my car (1969). Widest at the center (vent grille) and tapers to less on each end. Tell me where (points) you want measurements taken and I can get you close.

That's what I thought, If you could just give me an accurate measure from the middle and one from the end of the channel that would be great. Thanks a bunch.

Matt- thanks for your reply.

*Taken with electronic calipers:

Dead center of the vent: 60.22 mm

Edge of the vent: 55.09 mm

Behind the hinge (narrowest point, as it flares out again slightly at that point before reaching the fender edge): 45.30 mm
