Fuel pump? Again? Lame.
Well, My '72T left me stranded a mile or two down the street today. Very similar experience to one I had with it a few years ago.
Fuel pump gurus help? When I rolled to a stop, I noticed an eerie silence. I could hear the CDI whining, but no fuel pump. Dammit, I just replaced the fuel pump what? 6-7000 miles ago? My car is a hodgepodge '72 fuel tank, CIS-style fuel pump (I say "style" because it's actually the VW pump, same specs as the Porsche one. Same size, dimensions, shape, connections, half the price) And a '73 CIS motor. So, I guess I'm ranting, but in the meantime if someone can quick tell me which fuse in a '72 is in charge of the fuel pump, just in case. All fuses looked fine on the side of the road, but you never know.
