Turbo 915?

Yes this one is a bit out there.

Will a 915 hold up to a turbo conversion w under 400hp on a mostly street car w LSD and no more than 245 Toyo R1's?

Would not be beating it w spin the tire launches.

Would a reinforced side cover solve much of the issues.

Would it hold up for a 20 min DE event?

Thx in advance.

I am presently rebuilding a 915 that saw duty with a 3.6 non-vario-ram.

I would say short-term sure, long term no.

Length of short term depends on your right foot.

It takes tons of willpower not to spin those babies if you can.
