Cool 911T rebuild

Hello all!! I am located in Minnesota with a tired out 71, 911T. I want to have it rebuilt. I have low compression in 5 out of 6 cylinders. I am looking for a "good" person or company to do the work. Does anyone have a advice for this. I know that California is the popular place but wondering if there somewhere closer.

Thanks, Kim

Google Flat Six in the Minneapolis area. They are a first rate shop and really know early 911s. I think you can locate them on this board by doing a search for user ID FlatSix - at least I think that is it. I have not personally dealt with Aaron, but I understand that he is a first class guy and does awesome work. Good luck.

If you can pull it yourself, put it on a pallet and ship via Forward Air to John Walker in Seattle. If John can't pick up at their terminal in Kent, some of us would be glad to do it for a little gas money!

Do not at all costs let a company called Motormeister in SoCal get ahold of the engine.

The other suggestions above are good ones.

Contact Henry Schmidt. He's got a good reputation and is a frequent poster within the engine building section (Supertec is his company) http://www.supertecperformance.com/engines.phtml
