HELP! I need instructions for replacing door glass. Last night, some upstanding member of society decided that he really wanted my stereo. The given f*** face punched a hole in the static glass in my passenger window. I will be able to get the glass, but I need some guidance in the replacement thereof. The seals were undamaged, so I'm sure I'll be able to still use them. For clarification, here's the glass I'm talking about. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1212689950.jpg |

You will have to remove the window frame in order to relace that piece. Two allen head screws up top on the front of the door. Usually covered with plastic plugs. Remove the interior door skin and there is another fastener down low in the middle of the door. Then there are a few fasteners on the latch side of the door. Roll the window down and lift the whole frame out. Remove the screws that hold the small window frame together and replace. |

Thanks, Ron. Doesn't sound too bad. If anyone has and pictures, that would sure help as well. |

Ok, so this is getting more difficult. The vent glass is a bit hard to come by. If anyone has a spare piece of glass laying around that they would like to sell me, please let me know. Again.. Passenger Door Vent Glass for 1982 911 SC. |
