WR7DC plug superceded by 7900?
I have been to NAPA, Advance, and PEP Boys. No one stocks the WR7DC.
I checked Bosch's website and they list the following: Part Number Description 4477 PLATINUM+4 Do not gap. Gap is not adjustable. 4510 PLATINUM IR FUSION Do not gap. Gap is not adjustable. 4216 PLATINUM GAP=0.028" 4016 PLATINUM PLUS GAP=0.028" 7501 SUPER GAP=0.028" 7900 SUPER PLUS GAP=0.028" WR7DCX+ OEPLUG GAP=0.028"; When stock is depleted, please order the recommended Super Plus spark plug. Is it ok to use the 7900? I know I can order them from Pelican, but I was hoping to get the engine running tomorrow.

A year or two ago, Bosch decided to discontinue their std Copper and replace it with the Bosch Super that IIRC, has a coating on it. I tried to find the original plugs but they were NLA anywhere I looked. Do a search and you'll find a discussion on this. As far as I know, no one has complained about the new "improved" plug.
