Thermostat 80SC
Hi everyone, I attempted to replace both oil lines from the thermostat to the engine cooler and oil tank. I gave it plenty of heat and PB blaster but as soon as I gave the first turn of the wrench the oil line snapped off from the thermostat, breaking off the connection.
 I know I have to buy a new thermostat, can I use the aftermarket one that is sold by our host or do I have to stick with OEM? Thanks!

What is that a photo of? An aftermarket thermostat? I think I see the letters MADE IN...
What does the rest of that phrase say? Not CHINA, by any chance?

Yep after aftermarket, Mocal External Thermostat. I don't know where it is made.. Here is the part #PEL-MOCAL-1
