Broken bracket help

Hi

I just noticed a broken bracket in the throttle link (engine bay). My car (1985 carrera 3.2) throttle works fine.

After checking several 911 engines pics, I know that the missing part of this bracket is supposed to hold the end of the accelerator cable jacket.

My throttle cable looks different to the ones I've seen in the pictures. MIne doesn't go around the blower ducts.

Thanks

Cruise control removed?

Yeah, that's the CC cable bracket. You don't *need* it. The accelerator cable runs through the tunnel and connects to a linkage on the transmission, and a rod connected to this then actuates the throttle.
