Everything has been answered. We're on the 10th go round. Now, everyone just talks about sunny days and twisty roads. :D

if you want opinions on what color to paint your car, or what do you think of these wheels or which muffler to get, this is THE place to be.

Buckterrier 06-09-2008 06:01 PM

I'm here, I just don't have any answers :(

( :D )

And besides, Milt won't make me one of those fabulous front & rear bumpers ;)

freshly rebuilt motor !! It has been in non-op. From what I understand it needs 1000 miles on it before it gets tested. If not it could be flagged as a gross polluter????

Motronic is pretty clean running. Assuming your car has a stock engine with all of the stock smog equipment, you should pass right out of the box. You could always get a pre-test to see what kind of emissions your car is putting out. That would be a good idea.

Was anything special (out of/beyond factory spec) done to the motor in the rebuild?

No completely stock 3.2

Shaun @ Tru6 06-09-2008 08:26 PM

then I think "the" nailed it. put another way, if your car were brand new from the dealership (as it mechanically is now, and looks to be as well), it would have to pass smog before it rolled of the lot.
