John Schaefer, 9 Werks, Inc. Anyone know status or whereabouts?
 

I have been trying to reach John Schaefer of 9 Werks, Edgewater FL for 3 weeks with no response regarding a deal we have.
Does anyone know his status or why he may not be responding?
Trying this route before I go legal.

Three (3) weeks seem to be a long time for others. When he bought a '74 targa roller from me and a complete car from another local guy, John sent the money (full payment) to us in advance. We never met this guy before just talk over the phone and suddenly stopped communicating for 4 months. I tried many times to contact him through his cell phone and email but no response. I got paid but he won't answer my calls about his purchase. Out of the blue, he called at 11 PM that he was coming to pick up the roller the following morning. He came and he went away with his roller (that was fully paid 4 months before). End of story.

Give him some more time and he'll show up (hopefully). I have his cell phone and home number in case you need them. He seems to be a very nice individual.

The actual deal was made 6 months ago, now three months over due, 3 weeks with no response, and he has my money!

I am worried something has happened to him or someone he cares about. I wanted to buy a roll bar from him in early May and we communicated back/forth several times about connecting on it then he dropped of the list.

I've dealt with him. I'll leave out the details of our dealings, but my impression is he's (a) busy, (b) not the best at communications but is (c) fundamentally a good guy. He certainly isn't the easiest person to deal with or schedule with, or very reliable. Although I'd never ever do business with him again, I'd wager that eventually you'll get whatever he owes you.

I am digging deep to give him the benifit of doubt, but it is hard when there is no response at all on top of numerous broken promises.
How busy do you have to be to not be able to return a call or e-mail?
