Help! Quick Question - vent window frames on a Targa...
 

Are the vent window assemblies on a '74 Targa the same as on a '71 Targa? are they interchangable? how are they different?

Yes, they are the same. I've got one from a 74 on my 72, which bolted up with no problem.

I've put a set from a '71 on an SC, no problem.

Tcar- do you have pics of the SC with the fly vents? I ask because I am considering doing this, I will keep the stock stuff as this is easy to reverse.

I"ll have to look, I no longer have that car, but hopefully a pic w/ the vent wdos. Have lots before the vent windows.

The car was a '79 w/ bright, not matte black trim, so it matched.

Had a friend, tho, that put a set on his SC w/ matte black trim. He sanded (2000 paper?) then painted w/ Rust-oleum Satin Black (#9999, I think.)

I have the silver trim on the windows as well and have recently purchased a set of nice chrome vent windows and door handles. I will be doing this backdate soon.
