oil press switch access?

hey guys, I need help. the oil press switch on my 911 has gone bad. you which one , its the one waaaay in the back. is there a way to get to it without disassembling the top of the engine? I'm dead in the water(garage) till I can replace it. any ideas will be appreciated.

I have a 78/9 SC and the pressure switch is next to the alternator belt. You can test it by removing the wire and seeing what happens. Ground the wire and the needle should go to 0lbs, open the circuit and it should go to max pressure. If this is the problem you may have to drop the engine a little to get a 1" (as I remember) open end wrench on it.
