'74 911 suspension upgrades?

Without going too over the top, I am seeking advice/recommendations on available suspension upgrades.

Not a big fan of the "inserts" on the front but I think I'm stuck with them as the spindle is attached to the strut housing. can the lower control arm be change to accommodate an adjustable coil over? I'm not opposed to replacing the front end suspension as with the current status, I've plenty of work to do... replace bushings, struts etc...

Is there an adjustable coil over that can fit into the strut housing? I'll do that in conjunction with the bushing replacement and I should have a more refined ride.

As far as the rear goes, what kind of adjustable (coil overs) can I put back there? The rears currently provide way to much up/down movement.

Maybe you just need new shocks?
In what condition are the suspension bushings?
Coil overs aren't the likely answer unless you are running at 10/10s on the track and expecting to install a full cage to stiffen up the chassis.
You may want to lay out your goals and budget and then some folks here can help you make some good decisions.

Have you read through other suspension - oriented threads?

Posted quickly...

Am seeing a bunch of other threads related to this, suppose I can sort through them.

New shocks, will by far be the simplest solution, I just want to ensure a stiff ride as the over sized tires and wheels 'just' fit and want to prevent as much rub as possible.

thanks,

Brent

Bilstein HD in front - Bilstein Sport in the rear.

Then go from there.
