Long term Weber Storage
Can yall tell me the best way to store Webers for long term. The carbs are off the car. I was going to cover them in WD-40 put them in a loose plastic bag and then in a box. Does this sound like a good plan? Getting a divorce and want to store them for the unforseen future!
Thanks a lot! |

I would think you have to be just as concerned about the inside as the outside when long term storage is ahead. I'm not an expert ( but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express

I just drown them in motor oil. turn them upside down to get the fuel out, then pour oil down a tube on the inlet(while upright), them fill the bores, and use a soft brush to get oil into every nook and cranny, inside and out. then let excess oil drain off, and stick in large ziploc bag, doubled or tripled to avoid holes. WD40 is cr*p, practically useless, evaporates away.
