Looking for a Pelican in Atlanta
Hello all,
New (again) to this forum.  Had an 85 Carerra that I sold about 6 or 7 years ago and have regretted it ever since. I have found it's nearly identical twin in Atlanta and I need some advice and hopefully a trustworthy and independent Pelican in Atlanta to help me a little. I am looking into an 85 Carerra, <100K miles, Euro import with seller reporting to have the paperwork from the federalization. I live in Savannah so I have only spoken with the seller via email and have seen several photos but I would like an independent view of this car before I can get up there (this Sunday). Also, I am going to ask the owner to have another PPI done on my dime because the one supplied to me was way to superficial and only reported cosmetic issues. It did report several leaks but did not indicate the severity. So, can anyone tell me of a good shop/dealer for a PPI in/around Alpharetta? Also, are any of you Pelicans live in the area willing to spend a few minutes looking at the car? Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you want compensation, please ask (be gentle though). Great to be back on the boards here and possible a Porsche owner again! Thanks

I got Kerry's # from the PCA last week when I was in a pinch trying to line up PPIs on a couple of cars long distance (I'm in Alabama, cars in metro ATL). I ended up not having the cars I looked at inspected (yet) but I did talk to Kerry and he was very helpful, and comes highly recommended by the local folks.
