Source for rebuild/ Recurve 78-83 distributors?
 

Hi
I know Supertec rebuilds the SC distributors, but is not set up to recurve them.

I have a source in Detroit, but he is priced pretty high :(

Anybody have suggestions ?

Your source in Detroit must be Barry Hershon. I used him to rebuild and recurve my distributor and could not be happier. I'm not sure what "pretty high" is, but his price seemed reasonable to me. I'm not sure you will be able to find anyone else.

Try Jerry Woods Enterprise, he did my SC distributor back in '01 - can't remember the price he charged me.

Jerry Woods it is- almost half price compared to the other vendor !

We rebuild and recurve distributors all the time. Without the ability to recurve a distributor it would be impossible to build our twin plug distributors. We even have custom springs made to improve availability.

Prices??

Dave could you post quotes that you got, and Henry, what do you charge? I understand it is plus parts, but a rough number would benefit the board(and me)as a reference.

Not to take anything from Henry, but if proximity is an issue, I also understand Steve at Rennsport in OR does this as well.
