1990 911 driving problems
I hope someone can help me...
my 1990 911 was driving perfect then it cut out. When started it wouldn't idle very well, and would continue to cut out. So I changed the DME relay, and fuel filter and cleaned the rotor and dist cap. Now it seems to idle well, but when driving if I put my foot down over 40 miles an hour - it goes flat and wants to cut out plus my triptronic has stopped working - and it seems to drive in 3rd maybe 4th gear. does this happen to protect the gearbox. Any help is appreciated. thanks |

Maybe try replacing the dist cap and rotor?
