New primary bypass!

Good morning!
Yesterday I installed a primary bypass on my RSA. I love the new sound, not to loud, just enough to notice.

do you have just the primary bypass or both? I've got the secondary bypass on mine as it's supposed to save more weight

Allo Andrew!
I have the primary bypass only, it replaces the muffler. You have both bypass? Is it very loud?

No, I just have the 2ndary bypass pipe. I've never actually heard a 964 with both bypass pipes, but I'd imagine it's a little too loud for the street.

It'd be interesting to see how different they sound with one pipe versus the other though.

I noticed you have a 1993 RSA. Do you use it on the track? Saturday I went to a BMW track event that a friend invited me to. It was interresting and I'm thinking of going the next time they're holding an event. I would realy like to try my RSA on the track.
Have a good day.

one thing i noticed was that when i installed the primary bypass on my 964 was that it didn't make a huge difference at first, but as it got broken in, the sound difference became more pronounced. i guess the secondary muffler had to adjust to the increased flow perhaps? i still think it sounds great, especially since i was able to hear it from the outside recently.

Daniel,
Lol, these days I'm way too broke to track it as often, but my RSA is pretty much a track car at this point. Although it's also my daily driver at the moment.
