Ok I'll be the fourth, where are the wires connected to?

The wires would be tied in to the existing ones at the hydraulic switch. In this way, even if your new switch fails, you still have backup with the old one. I used a different style in a different location but same idea. I now get brake lites on when I touch the pedal and a cruise that drops out with the same light touch on the pedal. A worthwhile mod for sure.

The one I added was under the hood, attached to the brake cylinder tower. Details and more pictures at http://forums.pelicanparts.com/7346575-post14.html

Very interesting. Since my '71 911 has that type of brake switch as original from Porsche.

Yeah, I don't know why they decided to change to the twin hydraulic switches instead. I think the hydraulic switches came when the added the vacuum booster.

My car had the hydraulic ones as well, but only for the "brake warning light".
