CIS Trouble Shooting
Howdie Ya'all,
I am hopping some of you can help me diagnoes and answer some questions. I have a fresh '77 2.7 with 964 cams, 9.8:1 CIS J&E pistons (92mm) and back dated exhaust. I am not confident that all vacuum hoses are appropriately connected considering the above modifications. I have done many diagnostic checks (if not all) as per the two Bosch Fuel Injection manuals I have. Fuel pressures and flow rates are now in or near specs. Engine speed does not drop between shifts. Any suggestions what might be causing this? How much vaccum should I have at the distributor and which source should I use? What should my ignition timing be? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank You Cooler |
