+12V Source for DFI Coils
Hi, I'm installing a twin plug system in a 1983 SC.
I'm using 6 two post coils to run wasted spark ignition. I'm wondering were would be a good source for the +12v supply to the coils. Would anybody recommend a wire in the engine bay. I would rather not take it from the starter terminal to avoid the wiring. The car doesnt have heater blower. Was wondering if the 3rd fuse in the engine bay would be able to supply.. I guess since it has a 25A fuse it should be more than enough. Cheers Tareq |

Power source @ engine bay.......
Tareq,
There are two (2) 25-amp circuits in the engine bay fuse compartment. The heater blower and window defogger both have 25 amp fuse. Since you don't have any heater blower installed, it best to utilize this circuit for our need. HTH. Tony |
