What's It Worth?
I have a 70 911T that I purchased as a donor car for a previous project. I would now like to sell it as a rolling chassis. Please give me an honest evaluation as to what it's worth in it's given condition. Your input is much appreciated. Thanks, Eric
The Good: SC updates including chin spoiler, rocker panels, fiber glass rear flares and a whale tale. OEM Bosche H4 headlights MOMO Seats Steering wheel Shifter Rollbar 4-point Auto Pro racing harness 911 OEM Carrera 17" Wheels Looks good from 5 feet away. (I can't believe it's 38 years old) The Bad: Rust bubbles noted on five spots on the body as shown in the pictures. The floor pan is solid. There was some surface rust by the pedal cluster. I removed the cluster, used a high speed wire wheel from my grinder and removed the rust. I primed it, and then put two layers of under coat to prevent future rust. It appears some spots in the floor pan have been cut out and replaced. The PO completley ripped the dash and heating system out because he was going to make it a track car. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

will probably need a whole new paint job
will surely sell a LOT better w/o the fat butt bumpers on the rear; I'd sell the win separately also. does not have Fuchs no motor or trans... right? I'll guess $4k to $5k. I definitely agree that it should be saved. |
