tach work
I called around a few months ago to gauge the prices to reface a tach(silkscreen) and recalibrate to a 10k tach. I got a couple prices around $125 plus shipping. A few days ago, I boxed a mid seventies tach up and called around again and talked to two California shops that now wanted $325-350 for the same work. The tach isn't broken...I just want it to be a different looking tach. What have I missed....have prices jumped that much?? I would be better off buying an oem tach. Has anyone had this done recently and can you direct me to a shop that will do this for a reasonable price?
Thanks Speedo |

N Hollywood Speedometers
Came back with a realistic price of $110 to reface and calibrate...I'm thinking of a 10,000 green faced tach that was never produced.

Lars R's didn't have green face gauges if that matters to you. They used the 1968 white faced gauges.
