Oyltite
I read a thread about using a product called Oyltite to temporarily stop minor oil leaks. I have one on my case that I would like to top until such time that I drop the engine and split the case.
Anyone know where you can get this stuff? David Nolen 1970 911T |

I realize this may be an off the wall suggestion, but why not try a google search?

I am not familiar with oyltite however, the use of similar products in 911 engines is generally frowned upon given the small diameter of the oil passages.

Oyltite is applied externaly. It is brushed into cracks, etc. and seals them. The stuff is supposed to swell when in contact with oil.
I did try Google, but did not find anything definitive. David Nolen '70 011T |

Sorta like girlfriends and wedding rings?
I can't imagine it being more than a very temporary fix. Probably best used by shady used car people...
