Magnecor Spark Plug Wires

On a 1971 911S would you recommend using Magnecor spark plug wires with a Motec Coil but without the complete Motec EM sysytem but using the OEM originally provided?
I hope this makes sense.

Thank you,
RDJ

I'm running Magnecors on my '74 with stock 2.7L and Webers, stock Bosch CD ignition, points, etc... if that helps at all. I noticed a big change in spark when changing from my 4 year old Jacobs wires to the Magnecors and I'm really glad I switched to them!

Spark Plug Wires

The reason I asked the question as I've been told by someone who has worked on these cars for many years that it isn't recommended unless the complete Motec Ignition system is installed. Something about the Motec coil and plug wires creating a condition that the Bosch system isn't built for?
Any help?

Thanks

RDJ

Hmm, running Magnecor wires on my '84 too...

Any more info on what this "situation" they create is?

Sounds like a sales pitch to me. I've had Magnecors with Bosch for years.
