Anyone know of an OEM Porsche front line that is more than 16" long???
I'm looking to order some front brake lines for my older Audi S6, which I'm upgrading to Porsche Boxter calipers...
Problem is, a stock Boxter brake line size won't fit. I need something longer. I am trying to get lines from StopTech, but they need a model of Porsche. I just need a Porsche application that has the banjo fitting at one end and is 16" in length or longer. Are any of the 911's, or maybe a 928 (that's a pretty big car) this length from the factory?? Any info or length cross-reference would be great! |

Any decent workshop should be able to custom make one for you, quite possibly much cheaper than a stock Porsche brake line.

When I installed 930 brakes & master cylinder, I needed to bend a few lines (for the rear calipers and from the M/C down through the tunnel). Any decent auto parts store will have several length options with the correct flare and fittings, and you can bend them yourself. I just went to my garage, and I still have a spare 12" and a 30" but I can't recall from memory if they had any lengths in between. Hope this helps...
