Beygon:

I stopped by, but did not take any photos.

I have developed such an appreciation of 356's for their beautiful lines. They look so exotic in context of today's mundane, aerodynamically efficeint designs.

There were some very nice longhood 911's there too.

It was a grand day to take PCH. It was absolute bliss driving an open top 911 today. No Coupe would have sufficed.

Not even the blue 904?
I was parked at the far end surrounded by 944s.
There were only 3 89s there, my targa, a 928 and the turbo Speedster from Laguna. Did you look at Tim Joy's turbo 356, I know some purists don't like it but it is a great car.

Yes, I did like the turbo 356. It has such a high standard of finish.

Do you own the red (RED!!!) 89 Targa Dean? If so, your car is in remarkable condition. Well done!

As far as 911's that were on display, I fancied the Metallic Green longhood and the Olive longhood 911S'.

But, overall, I would have to say one of the Speedsters or Carrera 2's have the right stuff.

Yeah the red targa in the middle of the 944s was mine. Original car. You are right, there were some great looking cars there.

He lives locally and was just goofing around. He's got his track wheel on one side and street wheels on the other.

It's a factory 89 Speedster with a factory 962 motor, roll cage with door bars. He drives the beans out of it at the track ... fast guy with a fast car.

Yeah, indecision, I wondered how many people would pick that up. 962 motor in that thing. Really fast.

I was there - over with the 356's... There were about 150+ 356's on the lawn and about the same number of other P-cars throughout the day. A beautiful setting for a car show!!
