Early 911 Oil Filler Question
Hey Guys,
I have a 1967 911 with a 1971 engine - can some one please help me with identify the parts I need. The first pic shows my car's oil filler (minus the crusty cap it has), using the diagram on this page http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/PartsLookup/search.cgi?command=show_page&Catalog_Name=911_USA_65_69_KATALOG&Illustration=104-00&Line_Item=32 can someone please tell me what I am missing (do I have part 33 or is that missing??). ![]() The second pic is of a dipstick that came with the car. Is this the original dipstick? ![]() Any advice on how to measure the oil level with the filler neck missing? If I use the dipstick to hit the bottom of the tank how far up (in inches) should the oil level be? |

Just looking at your picture you're missing 30, 32, 33, 34 (2x), 48. Not sure if you have just the cap or also the neck it attaches too.
Nr.33 is a rubber sleeve to connect the neck to the tank. If the sleeve is NLA or you want to save some $$ you can use a 1 1/2" rubber drain connecting piece used in home plumbing. Martijn
