Changeover Switch?? Does anyone know?
 

Hello ~

I'm trying to solve a mystery... The Mysterious Switch.

There is a toggle switch on the left side of the dash, just below the gauges.
As far as I can tell it does nothing. Does anyone know what it was intended for?

This diagram refers to it as the "Crossover Switch" (number 9)

Also, my owner’s manual does not call it out.

Electric mirror (selecter for driver and passenger side).

ahh... As I only have the drivers side mirror that would explain the switch not doing a thing.

Think it was an option in '77.
