Any Pictures of a 911 in Platinum Metallic?

Paint code LM8U

Been thinking about doing a repaint and have always loved this color. I think it was available on the entire Porsche line up from 1981-1984.

Here is my '80 SC up on Mt. Evans a year ago. You have to match the wheels too, just kidding.

Well my SC is Weissach and its body paint color has been generally labeled as Platinum metallic but I have been wrong before.

I think they called it Pongee Beige Metallic on the Weissach (the only car you could get it on in 80) but starting in 81 the same paint code was called Platinum Met. and available on any model. I just call mine Platinum when someone asks.
