New Muffler. Woohoo!

Just had a new muffler installed. What a difference! The performance gain is incredible. I'm chirping in 1st and 2nd. The power band is strong and smooth all the way to 6.5K It sounds great when you get on it. Nice aggressive growl. Off the gas it is not much louder than the stock muffler.

Here are the details.

Converted from 1 in 1 out to a 1 in 2 out.
Installed a MagnaFlow 12265 muffler with stainless steel mandrel bent pipes.
Kept the Fabspeed cat bypass
Installed flange on passenger side that can be used to block the right side if I ever need to tune down the sound.

The install was performed by Muffman Performance Exhaust in Strasburg PA. Muffman did an incredible job. I highly recommend him. Looks like the exhaust was meant for he car. Parts and installation cost $350. By far the best $350 i've ever spent on the car.

Here is a quick picture. I'll post a sound clip soon.

Very nice. I may need to do something like that to raise the visible portion of my muffler. Bookmarked.

Nice!

With all that extra air flow you might want to double check your A/F ratios above 5K rpm on a dyno.

Here is a short video shot by my 12 year old. He said he would have rather been driving!

Here are a few more pictures.

Thanks . I listened to all the exhaust sounds on this thread over and over until I narrowed it down.

The ultimate exhaust sound clip thread!
