Backdate hard oil line

Hey guys, I have an '87 Carrera that I'm turbo charging, and the oil return line from the turbo is getting in the way of the hard oil line. Does anyone know if the backdated line which works on SSI's would be compatible with stock heat exchangers from 1987? Here's the part number I'm considering: 911-107-729-10-M20. It's the first item on this page:

http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/ksearch/pel_search.cgi?please_wait=N&forumid=&threadid=&command=DWsearch&description=911-107-729-10-M20&I1.x=7&I1.y=7&FILTER_911M=ON&FILTER_TECH=ON&FILTER_SUPP=ON&FILTER_ACCE=ON&FILTER_CARE=ON&FILTER_STUF=ON&FILTER_PERF=ON&FILTER_MISC=ON&FILTER_GADG=ON&FILTER_TOOL=ON

Thanks!

I don't think it is compatible. The 87 sends the exhaust forward, then sweeps around to the cat. The SSI's send exhaust backwards, directly into the muffler. The backdated oil line goes down and around the tranny. I think the 87 exhaust hardware will get in the way of this.
