Sparco Slider actuator

Not sure if that's the correct term, but the one that comes with the sliders (to operate the release) is too narrow for 16" Porsche base. Is the one from Brey Krause about the only option?

If you're talking about the hollow U-shaped bar that goes between the two sliders, it is meant to be bent into form.

whats the best way to bend it? It has 4 bends in it now and is at least 3" too narrow. Bend out at the inner bends and in at the outer? I invision it comming out ugly.
