Nice collectable garage find
My wrench called me over yesterday to show me a big box of original Porsche manuals and brochures for many, many different models and years given to him by a retiring owner/collector. In that box was an Original (great condition) 1975 Porsche Factory Sales Brochure. It's a 30+ PAGE full color 9.75x13.5 beautiful piece. I've never seen one for my car's year before. I'm blown away!
Here's a few out takes. Now I need a 1975 Carrera owner's manual (know where I can find one?) The front cover... (sorry about poor color in pic) ![]() Introduction inside on first page... ![]() Carrera and 75 RS Models.... ![]() Comparison of 911S and Carrera standard equipment... ![]()

At the track = great day

So are the two guys in the photo the couple who went to see how their 911 was made?

No, No, No I'm guessing that's some Porsche Exec and a salesman. The couple are shown several times through the various steps of travel, tour and pick-up. But that's funny, Texas!

Donny,
Very cool! Is Jay "giving" or selling any of these?

Is that you Kurt? Where the heck ya been? I'm not too sure what Jay would want to do with this box of treats but it's worth a call when he gets back from vacation late next week. He's selling his '72 lightweight RS Clone though. This is a very cool little car built to RS specs. I listed it for him on Pelican Cars for Sale today. Come by some time for a drive down the Spars!

Cripes!! he's selling that thing? Why does he sink so much cash and time into a project then sell? I'll try and call next week.
I've been in Phoenix the last two years - missing Prescott and White Spar Road like crazy!

For your owners manual, try your local dealer. I was able to get one for my 72 just two years ago. Wasn't cheap tho...

Note that the green car in the last photo is one of the uber-rare '74 Carrera RS 3.0 cars.

http://retromotorworks.com/1975911911scarreraownersmanual.aspx ...for $96.20!!! EDIT: Just found another '75 Owner's Manual on this site for slightly cheaper, $59.95... http://www.books4cars.com/result1.asp?findmake=Porsche&offset=150 PS: Nice work with your front valance in your other post, I think the fog-light delete looks much cleaner PPS: I miss mid9.net. I am sure it was just ahead of its time.

The guy in the light colored suit might be a younger Ben Matlock, before his hair turned white...

I looked at the site but can't see where it lets you see the condition but it's the first place I've seen any for the 75 911S and Carrera.. I'll see what the $96 one looks like if possible. I have a lead on a webmaster to get Mid9 up again. This IS the time. Early and mid-year cars are selling abroad and to more and more serious Porsche people. Interest and values are going up steadily. Thanks for the valance note as well. If it ever quits raining here I'm anxious to take her for a few parade laps.
