A special thanks to Steve Alarcon at Suspension Specialties
I just want to publicly thank Steve Alarcon for making my transition to new 9" X 16" s for my '85 911 Coupe such a pleasure. Steve made me an offer on my 6" Fuchs several weeks ago and when I called him out of the blue last Friday to accept his offer he hesitated for one second and said "come right on over". In spite of his busy day, there was a GT3 getting new brakes/rotors and several 911's in the pit, he took time to strike a deal that I feel was far more beneficial to me. He mounted and balanced my new 9's and unmounted/remounted and balanced the front 7"s on my baby.
All of this on a day when he was crazy busy with guys who had obviously made appointments. When I get around to installing my Turbo Tie Rods I'll beat a path back to his immaculate shop for a corner balance and alignment. This is a shameless promo for his shop that he has no knowledge of: Thanks for helping out a relative newbie Steve, Suspension Specialties 19056 Hawthorne Blvd. Torrance, CA 90503 Steve Alarcon (310) 991-3930

Good for you, Scott. Pictures? Your car is too beautiful not to show us all pics with the new wheels.

I haven't got one yet Scott I'm too busy staring at it.
Thanks for the compliment! S. P.S For those of you still running 6's and 7's save your pennies (I had to buy fake 9"s) and move the 7"s to the front and put 9"s on back. The transformation is stunning. My car actually looks downright "muscular" and I can just sit and stare at it for minutes at a time!
