cold start valve on 1981
where is the cold start valve, how do you remove it? can you clean it?
anyone have pics that shows it mounted? |

The cold start valve, or the cold start injector, is the "seventh" injector in the K-Jetronic system. It lives behind the airbox (up by the firewall) and to the right (if you're standing at the rear of your car) of the throttle body. In other words, it's homebase is very inaccessible.
It might be helpful for you to tell us more about what you're trying to resolve and then maybe we can come up with suggestions and options for you. Brian
