Please check this number for me 6134438

it has a shroud with a74 sticker on it and it also has carbs.

so it that a 2.4 or a 2.7?

I was told for sure this motor was a 2.7

Nope...the 2.7 was available only in the RS models...engine #6630001-6631551 (911/83)....

or it was a standard in the 74 correct?

what need to be done to switch this to a 2.7? could a person just put jugs on the car?
