Cars 'n Coffee at Ford's Premier Auto Group in Irvine Sat morning 7 AM to 9 AM. Lots of shops, but I can't think why I'd want to walk around in a shop with no business to bring. But, if you want to check a nice shop out, there's Aase in Fullerton. Also, there's a little dealer/repair shop called http://www.pristinemotorsports.com/ in Huntington Beach right near the downtown area (and the beach itself) with lots of eateries and lots to do. Lotta cute surfer girls floating around as well.

You must see European Collectibles in Costa Mesa/Newport.

www.europeancollectibles.com

Here's a photo from last week:

And there are many cool cars on the streets of Newport - just look around:

Tuesday, today, Fuddruckers in El Toro, a mile in -n/e- from the 5 freeway on El Toro road. Lots of cars, mostly American Iron on Tuesdays.
The Ford building as has been mentioned and if you are close to Dana Point try the end of Crown Valley at PCH. Plenty of cars there on Saturday mornings at a Starbucks.

You should mention the time for the Fuddruckers thing. I believe it starts around 5 PM, no? Also, do they have Fuddruckers on the East coast? If not, the name alone is intimidating. Great burgers you dress yourself at the condiments bar.

Yeah, this Fudds usually has a lot of cars by 4:30, and like Milt says, good food.

+1 on European Collectibles

If super cars are entertaining look at the dealerships on PCH in Newport. You can check out your choice of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Bentley, etc...

A fun non sportscar event is in old town Garden Grove every Friday evening starting at about 4:00. They close the main street and have some great old cars. There are some good places for bear and food. From time to time there are a couple Porsche's there. Alois Ruf was there last fall with the fastest of his aircooled cars and no one knew any better. Some old thing won 'Best Sportscar'!
