Handeling question 77' 911 Targa

I had a 74' 914,..and the faster you went ,..It seemed to handel much tighter,...and it handel great at 90 MPH,...My 911 does not handel the same way,. it is lowerd and has new tires,..but it seems loose at 90 plus ???? Thanks Frank

Might check your corner balance and alignment. More caster and tow in makes a car more stable.

Also, I would guess the 914 has more even weight distribution with not so light of front end.

Also, the 911 is basically a wing and generates lots of lift. I suspect with the horizontal rear window on a 914 may create some turbulence that brakes up the areo lift some.

Putting about 1 to 1/5" of rake into a 911 by lowering the front and adding spoilers can help a 911.

Just a guess.

Check the engine. It's probably slipped from its correct place near the center of the car to a strange place near the rear. I'm gonna catch he11 for that one . . .

911 Targa

Tire pressure very important. On my 205/55x16 (same size front and rear) 32 front 36 rear. depending on mileage the turbo tie-rod ends will also help.
