Dynolicious
There is an iphone/touch ipod application that turns your device into a performance meter. My friend has it and it is very cool. I saw a you tube video that compared it with a chassis dyno and it was accurate within 2hp. They also compared the 1/4 mile times to drag strip timeslips. I think those times were accurate within hundredths of a second. It measures g forces too. The best news: no wires, and it is only $13.

Sounds good.
Of course now, not only will people be driving while drunk, eating, doing makeup, reading, dopeslapping their kids, spilling hot MacD coffee in their laps, watching their GPS or Vid screens, texting, and phoning, they will also be doing timed acceleration runs and skidpad tests, while checking the data screen on their Ipod! |
