				removal of Secondary Venturi...how to...

I've been searching all morning looking for the method of removing the secondary venturi. It appears that I may need a special tool?

The secondary venturi slides upward after removing the top cover. The sec. venturi must be installed in the correct orientation.

Sherwood, let me rephrase, I have the tops off and I know they slide upward, but mine are not sliding upward. Is there a special tool to pull them upward?

![]() You may gently grasp them with softjaw pliers as they are spring-loaded at one end and are supposed to fit nice and tight.

or you may have to work up one side a 1/16", then the other side--sometimes they get cocked in there and get wedged.

I've also made two loop handles out of zip-ties, since it is hard to get your fingers down the barrels and still have any leverage.

I made a small slide puller type tool to pull them out. Just keep it straight when pulling.
