Alignment shop in Corpus Cristi Area

I had this lound creeking/clanking noise coming from my front passenger side of my car. After going over everything and getting a stress fracture repaired in my unibody, I finally found out that the polyurethane bushings were spent. The rear mount on the passenger side A-arm had rusted to the inner part of the bushing. So I just replaced my A-arm bearings with the ER PolyBronze ones and the ER Low Friction Control Arm mounts. Everything is back together, the sound is gone and now I need to get a front end alignment.

So I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good alignment shop in my area (Corpus Cristi; Portland; Ingleside; or Rockport, TX) that can properly align the front end of our cars.

Thanks,
Matt

You might try contacting the local PCA group. Plenty of shops here in Houston but I don't know Corpus. Their website....

Ken,

Thanks for the heads up. I'm a PCA member, but I wasn't sure what region I fell under once I moved down here. I updated my info with them hoping they would let me know. Once I did that when I moved to Rhode Island last year, they contacted me through the mail. All regions are different.

I'll check their site out,
Matt

Porsche Crest Alignment

Surprisingly, I had a local Firestone tire and repair facility do mine. They actually took a lot of time and allowed me to watch everything. It was on the factory numbers and drives perfect. With my coupon...$57.00
You might scope out one of those facilities. There are also four alignment shops listed in Corpus online search of the yellow pages.

Pearland Texas (a little North of Gustav)

You could also contact Jason at Paragon Products in Corpus Cristi for a recommendation.

Robert, I'm a bit scared to bring it to a normal place. I've got so many mods on this car and its not to factory specs. Its a little lower than Euro specs, I'm afraid they wouldn't know how to properly adjust it, especially with the strut tower brace. The last place I had it done was Performance Art in Gilroy, CA. Their techs were awesome and had a ton of 911 experience. I'd trust them to do anything.

Thanks Sherwood.

I'll start calling around this late this afternoon after I get home from the base.

Once I do find a place, I'll let everyone know about my experience,
Matt
