Jack Receiver tube weld

Does anyone have a photo reference or info of how they welded the jack receiver tube in the interior of the rocker? Does it need to be welded or am I just assuming that? Any help is appreciated. Also do you just insert the receiver tube as far back as it will go in the rocker? or is there a specific stick out length from the Jack receiver plate you need to meet.

Thanks in advance.

Harv

It needs to be welded. It has been a while but I punched quite a few holes and plug welded it to the inner rocker. When in use, it picks up the whole side of the car. It needs to be very secure. I don't have any pictures, but I tack welded it in place and then test fit the out rocker panel . The outer rocker panel has a lip that goes around the jack receiver. I don't remember having a problem with fitment or alignment.
