300 km/h tach

I found this speedometer, one that goes up to 300km/h instead of 260.
Is there a way to set my current milage ( about 191700km) onto the new unit.
It currently reads 260300km and that's a bit high for my taste.
Just in case I want to sell my car, I want it to display the correct figure and not have to explain that it is 70000kms less than what's on there.

thanks guys

here's a pic

well... you are not around the corner, but you can disassemble the speedometer, remove the odometer gear mechanism , disassemble it enough to get the mileage you want. Purchase a new ring from a VDO station and install it. That's it
