83SC Headliner

Took my sunroof headliner out to have it restored while repairing the sunroof cable. Anyone know a trick to getting it back in EASILY? Thanks

Getting what back in? Sunroof? Headliner? Cable? And what were you having restored?

Okay, I assume you mean the headliner. So what's the problem? There are no tricks that I know of, glue it back in place.

But then maybe I don't understand your question. More information would be a help.

Buy a new headliner since they are cheap and have a pro install it. While you're at it replace any window seals that might be old while you have the windows out.

Well, I can't even figure out if the kid is replacing the "headliner" or the "sunroof headliner." If the latter, what's the problem?

Trying to get just the sunroof headliner back in. Do you just flex it to fit it in the tight space? Thanks

There's a certain amount of stretch in the headliner vinyl. I don't know what you mean by ""fit[ting] in the tight space." What's tight about it? It's a rectangular panel of a fixed size. Glue it to it. Are you trying to reinstall the headliner with the sunroof already in place??? Ten-word post don't get the job done.
