Groundstrap Connection

On the photo I took before dissasembly 5 months ago (1975 911s) I can clearly see the connections for the blue, black, brown, and red wires so I know I've got these right. I cant see the connection for the groundstrap in my photo. After all the wires ane connected per my photo I have one terminal left with one of those insulated washers. Is this the terminal for the groundstrap or does it go somewhere else? When I connect it to the terminal and then connect the red I get a big spark. I was hoping I had the groundstrap in the wrong place and would have a easy solution to my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

On mine the groundstrap from the alt. to the engine went on one of the studs that bolt the air diffuser to the alternator hope this helps.

I put it to the stud on the air diffuser and it worked. No more spark. Thanks.
