Help ID'ing these 996 seats?

I bought these seats to install in my '99 996. They were identified to me as having come in a US GT3. Does anyone know for sure what they may have come in ( Year Model, type of 911, optional for certain years, etc.)?

The stock seat from my car is on the left, and the seat on the right, with the mini-wing, is the seat in question. Both are manual adjust (front to rear), electric adjustable back, manual height. The stock seat weighs about 49 pounds and the unknown seat about 48. The seat material (leather on both) of the right hand seat is a much softer, fine grain leather.

believe it's just the 996 sport seat, but I could be wrong.

That is the sport seat, not to be confused with the GT3 or GT3 Euro seat which is a shell which does not recline.

Thanks, guys.....

This agrees with a site I found which advertises used Porsche 911 seats for sale.

I'm glad to get an accurate description of what they are.

Does anyone know if the Boxster or 997 has the same mounting, or would the 996 sport seats be applicable to only the 996?
