1988 930 Rear Wiper
09-16-08 To All, This is my first post, so here goes. I got a used rear wiper motor and have installed and it works, but not happy with the blade position on the rear window. I am looking for advise on adjustment of the wiper home position and swing. Question: Where should the wiper come home to when shut off? It now is about 12 inches from the left side of rear window looking to-wards front of car and swings within 1 inches of the left side and the right bottom corner. It seems like it would be nice for it to park an inch or so from the left side of rear window. If I set the wiper at the left edge of window when the switch is off, then when turned on it wipes to far to the left. I have adjusted the linkage rod and that seems to lengthen or shorten the range of the left to right wiping motion. It seems that you may have three places to adjust. 1st maybe at the motor rotation arm, 2nd at the linkage length and third at the wiper arm. Does anyone have some advise? PS, John W, if you read this I finally got around to installing the wiper motor that you sent home with me. I still owe you for it. If I don't get some advise from this inquiry, I will give you a call. Thanks
